Dimensions: 29'6" x 7'10" x 1'1"-4'0"(Boards down).
Name: "Leyenda".

Construction: WEST system  64 sheets 1/2" Fijian Kauri (7-Ply)
on Clear Oregon. Bottom is two layers of 1/2" with
24 oz. triaxial f/g. /epoxy. Sides are 1/2" with two layers
6 oz. f/g. to above W.L. and one layer 6 oz. topsides.
Deck and house are one layer 1/2" with 6 oz.f/g. Bulwarks
are f/glassed. Finish is 2-pack polyurethane white on epoxy
hi-build primer. Bottom is overlap butt as per plan and sides and 
deck are scarfed 8:1.
Construction of timber and spars are clear st. grain oregon. Scarfs 
are 12:1. All timber is epoxy saturated with polyurethane paint 
or varnish.
Teak trim. Saloon drop-leaf table to plan from Australian Red Cedar.
Drawers aft are Aus. Red Cedar.
Galley drawers are lift & pull teak clear.
Lead ballast installed after launching and encased in cement 
with 1" ply lid under galley glued and bolted with thru'316 
S.S. bolts as per plan.
Bilgeboard cases f/glassed internally with f/g. build-up at 
bottom corners.
Bilgeboards to plan from marine alloy/ply/f/glass - 1"pins and 
cover plates are 316 S.S. Easy to raise and lower.
Rudder and shaft to plan - 316 S.S.
Counterbalance on mainmast  is 175 lb. lead . Easy to raise and 
lower both masts.
Windows replaced (2000) with tinted 10mm. perspex all round.
Cleats are silver ash clear.
Bilges are dry.
General: "Leyenda" is built to plan and sits exactly on her lines. 
Comfortable to liveaboard with two wide berths in saloon and a 
large double aft. Standing headroom in galley. Later modifications 
were made to improve the interior accommodation.This involved 
widening the galley by about 4" and installing a hinged window 
in the front of house for thru' ventilation. There is one thru'hull 
opening, i.e. drain from sink located above W.L. with ball-valve.
Ice Box: Top-opening . Hinges to stay open for access.

Performance is fast and responsive. AS-29 points high and 
sails fast downwind. In heavy conditions she behaves well 
when reefed down and gives a comfortable ride. Spinnaker 
improves performance in winds up to 15 knts. Above 15 knts. 
spinnaker is not necessary and 1st/2nd reef goes in gusting 
15-20knts. 2nd reef at 20knts. 3rd reef not tried.

High quality, excellent cut and condition. New sail covers 2000.
Motor: Mercury 9.9 H.P. Longshaft two-stroke outboard. New prop and
 leg. Regular service. Reliable. (3 x 20 L. tanks).
Ground Tackle Anchors (2). 27lb. Muir CQR with 200' x 1/2 " Nylon 
warp & 9m. galv.chain. 22lb.Danforth kedge with 100' nylon warp and 
chain.
Water 150 L.( 6 Jerry Cans - Hose to galley pump). F'rd sink & hand 
pump (1Jerry  Can).                         
Dinghy  Bolger Shoebox Punt. WEST system . Flotation. Oars, rowlocks.
G.P.S. Garmin 120 - Large screen.
Navigation Lights. White masthead and P & S lights on cabin. Stern
